The fabrics on every Comma are OEKO-TEX certified and free from harmful substances. The bouclé range is made from 100% recycled polyester verified under the Global Recycled Standard. All materials are REACH and ZDHC compliant, meaning zero hazardous chemicals in production. The timber frame is responsibly sourced. The foam is plant-based and biodegradable. We chose every material deliberately and can back up every claim with documentation on request.

The washing machine thing is real

Two kids under five. The covers came off easier than I expected, but putting them back on takes a few goes the first time. Once you figure it out, it becomes second nature. My son spilled an entire bowl of pasta on the corner seat in week two. Covers off, cold wash, back on the same evening. Two months in, and the sofa still looks like the day it arrived.
